The Committee has chosen "Beautiful Palestine" to be its logo which expresses adherence to our beautiful homeland, and in order to preserve all the beauty, civilization and cultural values which are abundant in our Palestinian heritage. Therefore, the Committee has worked towards preserving the Palestinian artistic and folkloric heritage in many ways including the organization of courses and exhibitions for artistic expression, such as an international competition it organized under the name “Your Name…My Country”.

 The purpose of the competition was to write the name “Palestine” in a beautiful and artistic manner. The Committee adopted the name “Bayyara” since it is a Palestinian word for beautiful Palestinian orchards, and because it is a name that many generations know well. In every story and tale, you will hear this word spoken by an old Palestinian longing for return to his homeland in order to irrigate his orange trees…and to collect the harvest of the lemon trees which he or she left by force years ago. Therefore the Committee decided to use this name to be the title for its website on the Internet, and it is also the name of a Palestinian youth group in the UAE which formed a folkloric troupe for the traditional “Dabkeh” dance and Palestinian folkloric heritage. The troupe participated in many of the Committee's events.
